SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas (AP) -Dominique Lacy had 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead UNC-Wilmington past North Carolina Central 79-64 Friday in the South Padre Invitational.
Lacy scored eight points during an early 16-3 run to put the Seahawks (3-3) in control. He had 13 first-half points to help UNC-Wilmington build a 42-31 lead.
Jamar Briscoe and Vincent Davis scored 15 points apiece to lead N.C. Central (0-5). The Eagles had 15 steals.
