GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) -Darius Joseph scored 13 points and Travis Mertens added 12 to lead North Dakota to a 73-60 win over Bemidji State on Saturday.
Daniel Harkins and Pat Mitchell added 11 points apiece for the Fighting Sioux (2-1), who shot 52 percent in the first half to take a 40-27 lead into the break. UND led 35-16 with 5:25 left in the first half.
Mitchell had three of UND’s eight 3-pointers. The Sioux were 8-for-16 from 3-point range and shot 53 percent overall.
Taylor Hall was Bemidji State’s only double-figure scorer with 11 points. The Beavers shot just 37 percent in the first half.
