Hill leads Southern Illinois past Hampton Print

 HAMPTON, Va. (AP) -Nick Hill threw for 282 yards and three touchdowns as Southern Illinois beat Hampton 45-27 Saturday and tied a school record with its 10th regular-season victory.
Hill was 24-of-28 as the Salukis finished the regular season 10-1, matching their records during the 1983 and 2003 seasons.
John Randle scored on a 76-yard run and a 28-yard pass from Hill, and Richard White scored on runs of 2 and 3 yards. Phil Goforth caught seven passes for a career-high 123 yards.
T.J. Mitchell was 23-of-37 for 280 yards and three touchdowns for Hampton (6-5). Jeremy Gilchrist had 93 yards on four receptions, including a 24-yard touchdown.
Southern Illinois finished with 474 yards total offense to Hampton's 411.
