CONWAY, Ark. (AP) – Jalen Jackson had 22 points to lead five players in double figures as Central Arkansas routed Hendrix 109-59 in an exhibition Tuesday night.
Central Arkansas led by as much as 32 points in the first half on the strength of six 3-pointers, three by Jackson. Lenell Brown came off the bench and added three 3-pointers to go with his 13 points. The Bears were 11 of 24 from 3-point range.
Daouda Berete, Aubrey Ball, and Phabian Glasco also scored in double figures for the Bears.
Central Arkansas begins the season with interim head coach Clarence Finley, who had been UCA’s associate head coach the past three seasons.
Division III Hendrix was led by Luke Vance, who had a team-high 12 points. Gearen Littlefield added a game-high 11 rebounds for the Warriors.
