LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -Mike Marra scored 22 points, including six 3-pointers, to lead Louisville to an easy 96-54 exhibition victory over Kentucky Wesleyan on Thursday night.
Peyton Siva added 18 points and Terrence Jennings scored 15 for the Cardinals, who shot 49 percent from the floor.
Chris Williams led Kentucky Wesleyan with 12 points, but the Panthers struggled to keep up with the Cardinals, who forced 25 turnovers and held Kentucky Wesleyan to 38 percent shooting.
Louisville coach Rick Pitino has pledged his undersized, inexperienced team will play an uptempo style designed to wear teams down, and the Cardinals looked crisp at times while pushing the pace at every opportunity.
The Cardinals open the regular season on Nov. 16 against No. 17 Butler.
