 MOBILE, Ala. (AP) -Domonic Tilford scored 15 points as South Alabama easily defeated West Florida 73-41 Saturday in the season opener for both schools.
South Alabama (1-0) never trailed and led by as many as 34 in the second half.
The Jaguars shot 45 percent compared to 30 percent for the Argos.
Brandon Davis and reserve Demetric Bennett each has 12 points for South Alabama.
Vitor Boccardo led the Argos with 14 points, Charles Bouie added 10.
