MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -Memphis forward Joey Dorsey was not in uniform for the third-ranked Tigers against Richmond on Tuesday night, missing a second straight game with a right shoulder sprain.
Dorsey, Memphis' only senior, was hurt during a scrimmage against Saint Louis on Oct. 27. He averaged 8.4 points and a team-high 9.4 rebounds last season.
Shawn Taggart, the 6-foot-10 transfer from Iowa State, had 15 rebounds in Dorsey's place Monday night against Tennessee-Martin and started against Richmond.
Dorsey participated in warmups and was in uniform Monday night, but was wearing street clothes on Memphis' bench in the regional final of the 2K Sports College Hoops Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer.
