PHILADELPHIA (AP) -Saint Joseph's men's basketball coach Phil Martelli has agreed to a four-year contract extension that will keep him with the Hawks through the 2015-16 season.
Martelli is entering his 14th season at Saint Joseph's. He has a 261-152 overall record and is 132-76 in the Atlantic 10 Conference.
Saint Joseph's is coming off a 21-13 season. The Hawks reached the A-10 title game for the third time in four years, but lost to Oklahoma in the opening round of the NCAA tournament.
Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
