CHICAGO (AP) – Former DePaul guard and NBA player Kevin Edwards has joined the Blue Demons in an administrative role.
Edwards will serve as the men’s basketball team’s director of community, corporate and professional relations, working as a liaison to Chicago’s business community while handling relationships with pro franchises in the U.S. and overseas.
He played two seasons at DePaul from 1986-88 and led the Blue Demons to two NCAA tournament appearances. He was drafted with the 20th pick by the Miami Heat and played 11 seasons in the NBA.
