LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -A spokesman says a University of Arkansas basketball player may be disciplined over a crass comment posted on the Internet as police investigated his teammates after a female student claimed she was raped at a party.
Athletic department spokesman Kevin Trainor said Thursday that officials were aware of the statement point guard Courtney Fortson made on Twitter.
Fortson wasn't named in the rape complaint. He made the comment Monday, two days before news of the investigation became public.
Fortson wrote: ``Im gettin it at workouts like a dude who doesnt understand the word no from a drunk girl lol.''
Prosecutors said Wednesday they wouldn't charge the three basketball players accused by the 18-year-old. A lawyer for the woman says she stands by the allegations.
