INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -Freshman Eric Gordon will leave Indiana after one season and enter the NBA draft.
The 6-foot-4 guard confirmed the move Monday at a news conference in his hometown of Indianapolis. Most expect him to be a top 10 selection in the June draft.
Gordon set Indiana and Big Ten freshman scoring records last season. He was the conference's freshman of the year and also was a third-team Associated Press All-American.
Gordon is the third Indiana player to leave school early this decade, following Jared Jeffries and Bracey Wright.
