INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -Aubrey Coleman of Houston scored 14 points and hit two 3-pointers to rally the Reese’s All-Stars past Hershey’s 106-101 in Friday’s game featuring college seniors.
Coleman was the catalyst in two big comebacks for his team, and five players reached double figures.
Lazar Hayward of Marquette finished with 23 points and five 3-pointers to lead Hershey’s, which led for all but six minutes of the game, which pits college seniors picked by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
Coleman’s team finally regained the lead with 4:48 to go when Arizona State’s Eric Boateng posted up for a dunk to make it 96-95. Wisconsin’s Tre’von Hughes followed that with a nifty tip-in and when Radford’s Art Parakhouski made back-to-back layups, Reese’s led 102-97.
