SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. (AP) -Kevin Willard has officially been announced as the new basketball coach at Seton Hall.
The university confirmed on Monday that the 34-year-old Willard, who led Iona to 21 wins this past season, has been hired to replace the fired Bobby Gonzalez.
Contract terms were not disclosed.
The Big East Conference school also confirmed on Monday that Anne Donovan would be leaving the New York Liberty of the WNBA after this season to take over the Pirates’ women’s basketball program. She will replace Phyllis Mangina, who resigned after 25 years.
