BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) -Indiana guard Malik Story will transfer at the end of the semester to a school closer to his home in Los Angeles.
Coach Tom Crean announced the freshman’s transfer Thursday.
Story averaged 5.9 points and 2.2 rebounds in 31 games this season for the Hoosiers (6-25), whose season ended with a 66-51 loss to Penn State in the Big Ten tournament.
Story says he’s grateful to have had the opportunity to play at Indiana but wants to move closer to home to spend more time with his family.
