 PEORIA, Ill. (AP) -Guards Andrew Warren and Jeremy Crouch led Bradley to a 79-73 victory over Ohio in the quarterfinals of the College Basketball Invitational on Monday night.
Warren scored 16 of his game-high 22 points and Crouch had 13 of his 15 points after the break as Bradley (19-15) used a 21-3 burst to overcome a 63-49 deficit with 9:09 left.
During the stretch, which ended on a Theron Wilson dunk at 2:55, the Braves forced six Ohio turnovers, scoring off five of them.
Matt Salley's layup at 4:15 gave Bradley the lead for good at 68-66.
Daniel Ruffin added 13 points and Wilson scored 10 for Bradley, which trailed 42-29 at the half.
Leon Williams led Ohio (20-13) with 20 points and 13 rebounds and Bubba Walther scored 19 points, including five 3-pointers, for the Bobcats. Jerome Tillman added 11 points and 10 rebounds for Ohio.
Bradley advances to Wednesday's semifinal against Virginia (17-15).
Houston 91, Valparaiso 67
HOUSTON (AP) - Robert McKiver scored 33 points and Kelvin Lewis added 28 as Houston defeated Valparaiso in the quarterfinals.
McKiver and Lewis combined to hit 13-of-27 3-pointers. As a team, Houston hit 16-of-36 while Valparaiso hit only 7-of-23 from outside the arc.
Houston (24-9) advances to face Tulsa (22-13) in the semifinals Wednesday night.
Urule Igbavboa led Valparaiso with 16 points. Jarryd Loyd added 15 for the Crusaders (22-14).
Virginia 80, Old Dominion 76
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) - Sean Singletary scored six points in the waning seconds to give Virginia a victory over Old Dominion.
A 3-pointer by Singletary with six seconds left tied the score at 75-75. Singletary then hit a layup and hit a free throw after a steal with four seconds left to give Virginia the lead for good at 78-75.
Old Dominion (18-16) had a chance to come back with three seconds left after Jonathan Adams made a free throw to cut Virginia's lead to 78-76. But Adams turned the ball over and Ben Finney fouled Virginia's Calvin Baker. Baker hit two free throws to seal the win.
Singletary finished with 22 points. Mamadi Diane had 14 points for Virginia and Jamil Tucker scored 11.
Brian Henderson led Old Dominion with 26 points.
Tulsa 69, Utah 60
TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Ben Uzoh scored 22 points, including 11-for-14 free throws to power Tulsa over Utah.
The Golden Hurricane (22-13) advanced to the semifinals on Wednesday.
Tulsa built a 35-20 halftime lead, mainly by making all 17 of its first-half free-throw attempts but also by limiting the Utes (18-15) to 26 percent shooting (6-for-23).
