 HUTCHINSON, Kan. (AP) -Nick Okorie scored 29 points and South Plains (Texas) College beat Salt Lake Community College 67-56 on Saturday night in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division I title game.
David Tairu added 14 points and Jonathan Hall had 13 points and six rebounds for the Texans (30-5), who went 4-of-7 from 3-point range in the second half after going 3-for-19 in the first.
DaVell Jackson had 19 points and eight rebounds, and Andy Palmer added 10 points for the Bruins (32-4).
