MIAMI (AP) -A male fan has been carried out of Miami's NCAA tournament site because of an undetermined health emergency.
Several Miami-Dade Fire Rescue workers were among those surrounding the man, who was seated about 20 rows from the court before Friday's Arizona-Utah NCAA game began. Workers were tending to him during that game's warmup period.
At least one person appeared to be performing CPR on the man, who was placed on a stretcher and carried up the stairs.
A Miami-Dade Fire Rescue spokeswoman, reached by phone, said she had no information on the situation. Tournament officials at AmericanAirlines Arena also said they did not know specifics related to the incident.
