PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -Georgetown center Greg Monroe says Thursday’s 97-83 loss to Ohio wasn’t his last game as a Hoya.
But the 6-foot-11 sophomore, who averaged 16 points and 9.5 rebounds this season, also said he hasn’t thought much about his future.
“I’m ready to go back and see how I can help my team next year,” he said.
Monroe had 19 points and 13 rebounds for Georgetown, which finished 23-11.
Coach John Thompson III said he doesn’t think anyone should hold Monroe to what he says a half hour after the season ends.
“You know, I think that he’s going to sit and make that decision as time goes on right here,” he said.
