NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (AP) -Richmond guard Kevin Anderson is the Atlantic 10 player of the year.
Anderson was fifth in the league in scoring at 17.8 points per game while leading the Spiders to program highs in both regular-season wins with 24 and A-10 wins with 13.
Anderson is joined on the All-Conference first-team by Temple’s Lavoy Allen, Xavier’s Jordan Crawford, Duquesne’s Damian Saunders and Dayton’s Chris Wright.
Temple’s Fran Dunphy was coach of the year. Fordham’s Chris Gaston was rookie of the year, Dayton’s Chris Johnson was most improved player, Temple’s Ramone Moore was sixth man of the year, and Saunders was defensive player of the year.
