SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. (AP) -Seton Hall guard Paul Gause will miss the rest of the season because of a knee injury.
Gause tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee midway through the Pirates' 95-69 loss to No. 22 Notre Dame on Wednesday. The school made the announcement on Friday.
The 5-foot-11 junior tri-captain had missed seven games earlier in the season with a broken bone in his right hand. He was averaging 7.6 points, 3.2 points and 2.8 steals.
Seton Hall (15-8) plays at Villanova on Saturday.
