EMMITSBURG, Md. (AP) -Wagner scored nine consecutive points in overtime to complete a comeback from a 19-point first-half deficit and defeat Mount St. Mary's 83-75 on Thursday night.
Mark Porter, who finished with 25 points, eight rebounds and six assists in 44 minutes for the Seahawks (16-6, 9-2 Northeast Conference), scored eight points in overtime, including a 3-pointer during the 9-0 run that turn a tied game into a 75-66 lead with 1:13 remaining.
The Mountaineers (10-13, 6-6) led 33-14 late in the first half and still held a commanding 48-34 edge with 15:56 remaining in regulation. Wagner scored the next 12 points, but MSM led 60-53 with 5:45 left.
