 PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -The fan who ran onto the court to confront a referee during a Providence College basketball game was ordered held without bail Tuesday for allegedly violating his probation.
Jonathan Xavier was held for allegedly breaking the terms of his probation from a 2005 drug conviction.
Xavier walked onto the court during a nationally televised game earlier this month after his brother, Providence guard Jeff Xavier, was hit in the eye by a Marquette player.
Jonathan Xavier was charged with disorderly conduct. A hearing was scheduled for Feb. 10 to determine if he violated his probation.
