 GREENVILLE, N.C. (AP) -David Gomez scored 18 points to lead Tulane to a 72-56 rout of East Carolina on Saturday night.
Robinson Louisme added 11 points for the Green Wave (14-6, 4-2 Conference USA), who shot 44 percent and overcame some hot perimeter shooting from the Pirates to win their fourth straight.
Kevin Sims and Donnavan Stith each had 10 points for Tulane, which outrebounded East Carolina 39-26 and turned it over just five times.
Darrell Jenkins had 12 points to lead the Pirates (7-11, 1-4), who have lost three straight and four of five since consecutive nonconference wins over Coastal Carolina and North Carolina Central.
East Carolina was 6 of 14 from 3-point range and shot 42 percent from the floor.
