HOUSTON (AP) -Houston Rockets guard Tracy McGrady was inactive Saturday against Utah with more soreness in his left knee, while the Jazz were again playing without Carlos Boozer, Mehmet Okur and Paul Millsap.
McGrady, the Rockets’ second-leading scorer, sat out for the eighth time this season with the injury, the effects of offseason surgery. He was held to four points in the Rockets’ 99-90 loss at Cleveland on Dec. 23, then went 2-for-11 from the field in Friday’s 88-79 loss in New Orleans.
Boozer, Okur and Millsap did not travel with the Jazz to Houston. Boozer has been out since Nov. 21 with a strained left quad, Okur sat out for the third straight game with back spasms and Millsap is expected to miss another week with a sprained left knee.
