Paul Pierce had 21 points, six rebounds and five assists. Kevin Garnett added 21 points and 13 rebounds for Boston, which won its sixth consecutive game.
Rondo, a 6-foot-1 point guard, added eight rebounds and seven assists, running the Celtics' offense to a season-high point effort.

Cavaliers 117, Thunder 82
CLEVELAND (AP) - LeBron James played just 17 minutes, tying his career low, and scored 14 points as Cleveland rolled over Oklahoma City.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas led Cleveland with 17 points. All 12 players on the roster scored. The Cavaliers are 12-3 for the first time in franchise history and remained undefeated at home in eight games.
Thunder are 0-3 under interim coach Scott Brooks, who took over when P.J. Carlesimo was fired Nov. 22.
Raptors 93, Bobcats 86
TORONTO (AP) - Chris Bosh had 39 points and 11 rebounds, Joey Graham added a season-high 17 points and Toronto beat Charlotte.
Andrea Bargnani had 11 points, while Jose Calderon had 10 points and nine assists as Toronto won for the first time in three games and improved to 3-4 at home.
Gerald Wallace led Charlotte with 23 points. Emeka Okafor had 16 points and 14 rebounds, but the Bobcats still lost for the fifth time in six games.
Magic 96, 76ers 94
PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Rashard Lewis scored 19 points and hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with 4.7 seconds left to lead Orlando over Philadelphia.
Dwight Howard had 21 points and 14 rebounds for the Magic (11-4), who shot just 12-for-35 in the second half and nearly surrendered a 12-point, first-half lead. Tony Battie had a season-high 20 points and Turkoglu added 12 for Orlando, which won for the seventh time in eight games.
Elton Brand scored 17 of his 21 points in the second half for Philadelphia (7-8), which lost its second straight. Andre Iguodala added 17 points, while Lou Williams and Thaddeus Young had 13 apiece.
Suns 110, Timberwolves 102
Steve Nash added 20 points and six assists in 27 minutes for the Suns, who were playing the second game of a back-to-back but still had enough in the tank to down the woeful Wolves.
Al Jefferson continued to dominate Phoenix with 28 points and 17 rebounds, including a franchise-record 12 on the offensive end. He averaged 30.5 points and 15.3 rebounds in four games against Phoenix last season.
Pistons 110, Knicks 96
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) - Richard Hamilton led a balanced attack with 17 points and Detroit beat undermanned New York.
The Pistons had eight players score between 10 and 17 points, and Michael Curry didn't have to play any of his starters more than 31 minutes. Amir Johnson had 13 rebounds off the bench, while fellow reserve Rodney Stuckey had 11 assists.
Al Harrington led the Knicks with 25 points, while David Lee added 17 and Wilson Chandler had 15.
Hawks 102, Bucks 96
ATLANTA (AP) - Al Horford scored 21 points and converted a key three-point play to protect a late lead, leading Atlanta over Milwaukee.
The Hawks have won three of four after losing four straight. Atlanta was ahead most of the game but neither team led by double figures.
Richard Jefferson scored 25 points for Milwaukee and rookie Ramon Sessions had 21. But reserve Charlie Villanueva, who had 19 points in 22 minutes, was the Bucks' only other scorer in double figures.
