DENVER (AP) -Denver Nuggets backup center Steven Hunter will be out six weeks after arthroscopic surgery Friday on his right knee.
Team physician Steve Traina performed the operation.
The Nuggets acquired Hunter from Philadelphia this year in a trade that sent forward Reggie Evans to the 76ers. Hunter has averaged 1.3 rebounds per game in four games for the Nuggets this season.
