MIAMI (AP) -New Jersey guard Devin Harris has been ruled out of Monday’s game against the Miami Heat because of continued problems with a sprained left ankle.
Harris hasn’t played since scoring a career-best 38 points against the Detroit Pistons on Friday. He sat out the Nets’ 98-80 loss at Indiana on Saturday, and coach Lawrence Frank said there’s “a pretty good chance” Harris will miss a home game with the Pacers on Wednesday as well.
“If he’s able to get back Wednesday, then he’ll go,” Frank said. “He’s officially listed as day to day, but that’s the assessment of where it stands right now.”
Frank indicated the likely return for Harris will be at home against Atlanta on Friday.
Keyon Dooling will be the starting point guard until Harris returns.
