PHILADELPHIA (AP) -Guard Royal Ivey signed a multiyear contract with the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday.
Ivey has averaged 4 points, 1.5 assists, 1.3 rebounds and 14.3 minutes in 263 games over four seasons in the NBA. A second-round pick by Atlanta in 2004, Ivey played three seasons with the Hawks and one in Milwaukee.
The 6-foot-4 Ivey has started 109 games and shot 42.1 percent from the floor, including 33.1 percent from 3-point range.
Ivey played in 75 games with 20 starts last season, averaging career-highs of 5.6 points, 2.1 assists, 1.6 rebounds and 19.2 minutes per game.
The 76ers signed two-time All-Star forward Elton Brand earlier this summer.
