LOS ANGELES (AP) -The Clippers waived guard Daniel Ewing on Friday, and declined to tender a qualifying offer to forward James Singleton, making him an unrestricted free agent on Sunday.
Ewing averaged 3.4 points, 1.4 assists and 13.3 minutes per game in two seasons with the Clippers, who made him the 32nd overall pick in the 2005 NBA draft.
Singleton, signed as a free agent before the 2005-06 season, averaged 2.6 points. 2.7 rebounds and 10.1 minutes per game in two seasons with the Clippers. In addition to not making him a qualifying offer, they declined the third-year option on his contract.
