ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -Derek Fisher made a tying 3-pointer with 4.6 seconds left, and the Los Angeles Lakers and Orlando Magic went to overtime tied at 87 in Game 4 of the NBA finals Tuesday night.
Mickael Pietrus of the Magic missed a jumper as time expired, creating the second overtime game of the series. The Lakers won Game 2 101-96 on their way to a 2-0 lead.
It was the first time since 1984 – Lakers against Boston – that two games in the finals went overtime.
Orlando was up 87-82 with under a minute to play, but couldn’t put it away at the free throw line. Pau Gasol’s basket cut it to two before Fisher’s tying 3 – his first from behind the arc after missing his first five attempts.
Dwight Howard had 15 points, 21 rebounds and an NBA finals-record nine blocked shots, but his 5-of-12 shooting at the foul line was a major reason the game went to overtime.

Kobe Bryant of the Lakers scored 28 points in regulation, while Hedo Turkoglu had 25 for Orlando.
Game 5 is Sunday night, and Game 6 would be in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.
