-Carlos Boozer, Jazz, scored 30 points and had 13 rebounds in Utah's 127-117 overtime victory against Golden State.

WELCOME BACK
Derek Fisher missed most of the first three quarters because of a family illness, then scored all five of his points in overtime to help Utah to a 127-117 victory over the Golden State Warriors and a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference semifinals. Fisher has been away from the team for two days as his daughter underwent cancer surgery in New York.

INJURED
Utah rookie Dee Brown injured his neck when teammate Mehmet Okur landed on him in the first quarter of Wednesday night's Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals against Golden State. He was taken to a hospital as a precaution. He had to be helped from the court and was taken to a hospital as a precaution. The team said neurological tests on Brown were normal. RETURNING HOME
The New Orleans Hornets should be able to return by Aug. 1 to the suburban practice courts they used before Hurricane Katrina, said state officials who are responsible for providing the NBA team with a place to train.

STUDY
A new study released Wednesday found that the NBA had the highest ever percentages of minority vice presidents and league office personnel in men's sports history - 15 and 34 percent. The study was conducted by the Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport at the University of Central Florida.
