ATLANTA (AP) -Jamal Crawford has felt like a rookie at times, even though he’s been in the NBA for a decade.
No surprise there. It’s Crawford’s first trip to the playoffs, so it’s only natural he was feeling some jitters after waiting so long for this chance.
Maybe he got over the hump Friday night. Coming off a miserable 4-of-18 shooting performance in the Hawks’ stunning Game 5 loss, Crawford rebounded to score 24 points in an 83-69 win over the Milwaukee Bucks, sending the best-of-seven series back to Atlanta for the decisive contest Sunday.
Crawford concedes that he was uptight in Game 5. But he came out much looser in a game the third-seeded Hawks had to have to avoid an upset loss to the Bucks.
