DENVER (AP) -Forward Kenyon Martin has missed the Denver Nuggets’ final practice before Game 3 of their first-round matchup with Utah.
Martin was held out of Thursday’s workout as a precaution, allowing him to rest the balky left knee that caused him to miss 18 games late in the season.
Acting coach Adrian Dantley says Martin’s knee feels good and he will be a game-time decision for Friday night.
Martin has played in the Nuggets’ last five games, including the first two playoff games against Utah, since returning April 10 from platelet rich plasma therapy to treat a severe bout of tendinitis in the knee.
The Nuggets headed to Salt Lake City on Thursday with the series tied 1-1.
