MIAMI (AP) -Jamario Moon of the Miami Heat did not play against the New York Knicks on Sunday, and teammate Jermaine O’Neal missed the second half of the game with a strained left calf.
O’Neal scored four points and had four rebounds in 13 minutes. He left with 59 seconds remaining in the half and would not return, the team said. It was unclear when he was injured.
Moon strained his groin last week against the New Orleans Hornets. He also sat out Miami’s loss Friday in Boston.
Moon is averaging 7.2 points and 4.6 rebounds. Rookie Michael Beasley took Moon’s place in the starting lineup.
