INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -Detroit coach John Kuester said guard Rodney Stuckey will play Friday night at Indiana, though the team will closely monitor how things go.
The second-year guard hasn’t played since collapsing on the bench two weeks ago during a game. Doctors cleared Stuckey for exercise last week after extensive cardiac tests. Last season, Stuckey missed two games last season after experiencing dizziness.
Stuckey said he wants to play a “little bit to see where he’s at.”
Pacers coach Jim O’Brien also told reporters that All-Star forward Danny Granger would play Friday after missing Wednesday’s game in Cleveland with a facial injury.
