BOSTON (AP) -Boston forward Glen “Big Baby” Davis was ejected from the Celtics’ game against Cleveland for a flagrant foul in the third quarter.
Davis wrapped up Anderson Varejao under the basket to keep him from an easy layup, causing tempers to erupt. LeBron James and Ray Allen began jawing at each other while officials tried to separate them; they were each called for technical fouls, as was Cavs center Zydrunas Ilgauskas.
Leon Powe entered the game as Davis’ replacement for the Celtics, who were already missing regular power forward Kevin Garnett because of a knee injury.
