BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - Derek Elston, Jordan Hulls and Christian Watford came to Indiana to turn a tattered program around. On Tuesday night, the three seniors and perhaps a few of their younger teammates will leave Assembly Hall for the final time with a Big Ten title. The only question is whether it will be the school's first outright championship in two decades. This is not just another rivalry game between No. 2 Indiana (25-4, 13-3) and No. 14 Ohio State (21-7, 11-5). For the Hoosiers, this will be a celebration unlike any other. The seniors who signed up to play for Indiana following a six-win season in 2009-10 have made good on their promise to restore the luster to one of America's most storied programs - something nobody in Bloomington will soon forget. |
