MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -Utah Jazz forward Matt Harpring is out of Wednesday night’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves with a bruised back.
He was injured on a flagrant foul by Atlanta’s Josh Smith in a victory over the Hawks on Monday.
The Jazz were just starting to get healthy. Carlos Boozer returned to the Jazz on Monday after missing 44 games with a knee injury. Point guard Deron Williams, center Mehmet Okur and forward Andrei Kirilenko also have missed time with various injuries.
The game against the Hawks was the first time all season the Jazz have had all 15 players healthy for a game.
Coach Jerry Sloan said Harpring was sore on Tuesday and will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis.
Harpring averages 5.1 points and 2.2 rebounds a game.
