MIAMI (AP) -Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade is out for the third straight game because of a strained left calf.
Wade has been getting treatment since the Heat returned from a five-game road trip. Miami coach Erik Spoelstra says the All-Star MVP feels better, but still didn’t set a date for his return.
Wade is averaging 26.1 points, 6.4 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game for the Heat.
Spoelstra says Wade is still weak, but team trainers have told the coach that the injury can improve quickly with treatment.
Point guard Rafer Alston also was scratched on Tuesday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves because of a bruised right hand.
