MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade was inactive for Friday night’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies because of a left calf strain.
Wade, the Heat’s leading scorer and sixth in the NBA at 26.1 points a game, was injured in the first quarter of Wednesday’s 87-84 win over the New Jersey Nets.
Wade is listed as day-to-day, although he is wearing a protective boot.
The Heat were also without starting point guard Rafer Alston, who was inactive after injuring his right hand against the Nets.
