SURGING
Houston has won 10 of 11 and six straight following a 108-89 win over Atlanta on Saturday night. The Rockets are on their longest winning streak since closing the 2004-05 regular season with seven consecutive victories. ... Philadelphia has won three straight and topped 100 points in all three games after a 101-80 win at home against the Clippers.

SNAPPED
New York ended an eight-game losing streak with a 99-98 win at Milwaukee on Saturday. The Knicks hadn't won since an 89-81 home victory over Philadelphia on Jan. 25.

Utah won its 12th straight at home and is 22-3 in Salt Lake City after a 97-87 win over Chicago on Saturday night.
