Stackhouse returned to the Mavericks' lineup on Friday after missing seven games, but his right hamstring did not feel good and coach Avery Johnson decided not to risk further injury.
``If the recovery is not good and we feel there is some danger we'll sit him down and that's what we are doing,'' Johnson said.
Starting center Erick Dampier returned to the lineup Sunday after missing the Memphis game with a sprained right ankle.
Devin Harris missed his seven straight game because a bruised left ankle.
