PHILADELPHIA (AP) -Nets guard Vince Carter sprained his right ankle and left the game in the fourth quarter against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Carter twice hobbled to the locker room in the second half of Saturday's game. Carter, who entered averaging 21.4 points, left once in the third quarter and returned to the bench a short time later. He played only 2 minutes in the fourth before he left the game for good.
Carter scored seven points and had six rebounds in 26 minutes.
