LOS ANGELES (AP) -Add Luke Walton to the Lakers' injury list.
Walton was removed from Tuesday night's game against the New York Knicks with 3:39 left in the first quarter because of a right hip pointer, and team spokesman John Black told reporters early in the second period that Walton wouldn't return.
There was no immediate word as to the severity of the injury. Walton joined centers Andrew Bynum (left knee) and Chris Mihm (right ankle bursitis) and forward Trevor Ariza (broken right foot) on the sidelines.
