DALLAS (AP) -Mavericks swingman Jerry Stackhouse will be out for about a week because of a mildly strained right hamstring.
Stackhouse was injured Wednesday night. An MRI taken Friday revealed the extent of the injury.
``It's nothing serious,'' Dallas coach Avery Johnson said.
Stackhouse is averaging 9.9 points, 2.5 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 24.4 minutes this season. He sat out a game earlier this month because of a hamstring problem.
At a full week, he'd miss games against the Lakers, Denver, Memphis and Boston. If he doesn't return Jan. 31 on the road against the Celtics, he could be back by Feb. 3 in Detroit.
