OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -Golden State guard C.J. Watson was scheduled to undergo an MRI exam to determine the extent of an injury to his left big toe Friday and will miss the Warriors’ game against the Atlanta Hawks.
Watson, who scored a career-high 26 points in a 135-133 triple overtime loss to Sacramento on Wednesday night has been suffering from turf toe for a few days.
“It’s been bothering him for some time,” Warriors coach Don Nelson said. “He has a hard time walking right now.”
Watson joins a growing list of injured Warriors that includes guards Marco Belinelli, Monta Ellis and Stephen Jackson and forward Brandan Wright.
