Warriors snap seven-game skid
Golden State rolled to a 114-95 victory Tuesday night at Memphis to improve to 3-12 overall and 2-6 on the road. The Warriors led 61-46 at halftime on their way to the win. Alec Burks paced Golden State with 29 points on 9-of-15 shooting including 2-of-5 from 3-point range plus 9-of-9 at the free throw line. He also notched eight rebounds and two assists. Glenn Robinson III accounted for 20 points and two assists. Eric Paschall recorded 17 points, five boards and three assists. Marquese Chriss added 17 points, six caroms, four blocked shots and two assists off the bench.
Doncic records another triple-double
Luka Doncic became the second-youngest with at least 40 points in a triple-double Monday night in a 117-110 victory over San Antonio. The Mavericks (8-5, 4-3 home) led 59-49 at halftime en route to the win. Doncic finished with 42 points on 14-of-27 shooting including 5-of-13 shooting plus 9-of-13 at the free throw line. He also registered 12 assists and 11 rebounds. Dorian Finney-Smith tallied 22 points, five boards and three assists. Kristaps Porzingis accounted for 18 points and 10 caroms. Jalen Brunson added 11 points in 13 minutes off the bench.
NBA Betting Trends
Golden State
The Warriors are 8-18-1 ATS in their last 27 games versus the Southwest Division. Golden State is 0-7 ATS in its last seven Wednesday games.
Dallas
The Mavericks are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games versus the Western Conference. Dallas is 4-10-1 ATS in its last 15 home games.
Prediction:
The Warriors might be the team on a back-to-back here, but at least they have a lot of young players that can bounce back a little easier. Dallas has also struggled putting teams away and playing down to its competition as evidenced by its two losses to the Knicks. I think this game stays closer than predicted and even if the Mavs end up winning by 12 or 13, that’s still a cover for Golden State backers.
