Milwaukee Bucks DFS Notes
Giannis Antetokounmpo finished Saturday’s Game 1 loss to the Nets with a game-high 34 points on 16-of-24 shooting, also adding 11 rebounds four assists, two blocks, two triples and five turnovers in 35 minutes. Despite living in the paint with 72 points in that area tonight, the Bucks didn’t have much going outside of Giannis in this one and ultimately fell to a Nets team without James Harden (hamstring injury in the first minute of the game). Milwaukee couldn’t make a triple to save their life tonight with a horrendous 6-of-30 mark from there, and they’ll need to do better if they want to compete with this stacked squad that is the Brooklyn Nets. Khris Middleton had an incredibly inefficient double-double with a 13/13/4 line on 6-of-23 shooting, while Jrue Holiday posted 17 points, nine boards and six dimes in 37 minutes. We’ll see what kinds of adjustments the Bucks make before Game 2 on Monday.
Brooklyn Nets DFS Notes
James Harden (hamstring) has been ruled out for Monday’s Game 2 against the Bucks. This isn’t all that surprising and the Nets have to just hope he’ll be available at some point during the series. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant will once again have to carry the load in hopes of going up 2-0 in the series.
Bucks vs. Nets Playoffs Prediction
Despite losing Game 1, the Bucks are still 29-12-1 against the spread in the last 42 meetings between these two teams and are 16-4-1 against the number in their last 21 games in Brooklyn. The Bucks are also 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games playing on one day of rest and are 4-1 against the number in their last five road games versus a team with a winning hoem record.
NBA PLAYOFFS PREDICTION: MILWAUKEE BUCKS +1.5
