Philadelphia 76ers DFS Notes
Joel Embiid went off for a playoff career-high 36 points in Saturday’s easy win against Washington, also adding eight rebounds, two assists, three steals, a block and three triples in only 28 minutes of action. He’s the first player in 76ers playoff history with 35 points on 75% shooting (14-of-18 tonight), and his 25 points in the first half were also his high for points in a half in a playoff game, so it was just that kind of night for Embiid and the Sixers. His 36th point game in the 3rd quarter too, as they did not need him in the fourth quarter of what turned out to be a highly lopsided victory. He even threw down a monster dunk after missing one minutes earlier, and he has fully embraced the playing-on-the-road mentality, with Embiid himself claiming that “it makes me play even better just because I want them to shut up.” Tobias Harris continued his stellar play as well with a 20 and 13 double-double, also chipping in five dimes and two 3-pointers for good measure.
Washington Wizards DFS Notes
Russell Westbrook is listed as questionable for Monday’s game with a sprained right ankle. He was able to play through it on Saturday and had a triple-double and with the series on the line, you can bet that he’ll be out there if he’s able to walk. With Ish Smith also questionable with a groin injury, Raul Neto could be forced into heavy action on Monday if they’re both out. The Sixers lead the series 3-0 and will be looking to close it out on Monday.
