Dwight Howard Prop Odds
OAKLAND, CA (TheSpread) – Dwight Howard may be battling a knee issue, but it hasn’t stopped him from making an impact in the Western Conference Finals. Will he do it again in Game 3 tonight?
According to oddsmakers at online sports book Bovada.lv, the Warriors are the slight favorite on the road, as Golden State is getting odds of -1.5 points at Houston. The over/under total for the game has been set at 214.5 points. When it comes to the prop odds for Howard in Game 3, his over/under total for points has been set at 18.5, while his over/under for rebounds is listed at 14.
During the regular season, Howard averaged 15.8 points and 10.5 rebounds per game for the Rockets. Howard shot 59.3 percent from the field but just 53 percent from the free-throw line. In the playoffs, Howard is averaging 16.6 points and 14 rebounds per game. He is shooting 59.1 percent from the field in the postseason while shooting just 41 percent from the charity stripe.
Howard was held to seven points and 13 rebounds in Game 1 of this series, but he played just 26 minutes due to the knee injury. In Game 2, Howard played 40 minutes and finished with 19 points and 17 rebounds. Howard faced Golden State two times during the season. He had 23 points with 10 rebounds back on Jan. 17 and then had just seven points with 11 rebounds in a Jan. 21 meeting.
